As part of its commitment to the community and the City of Cape Town which makes much of what it does in the community possible, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra was delighted to present three concerts – in the Kraaifontein Civic Hall, the Dulcie September Civic Centre in Athlone and yesterday at the Civic Hall in Langa. All the concerts were conducted by the CPO’s resident conductor, Brandon Phillips. These performances are crucial for the sustainability of orchestral music in Cape Town, and each concert has been tailored to the community’s people.
